Private tutoring at CLAA is designed to support students who are already actively engaged in their studies and want additional structure, guidance, or acceleration. It is not meant to replace self-motivated study but to strengthen and enrich it.
The students who benefit most from private tutoring are:
1. Students who are eager to learn but do not have academic help or support available at home.
   - These students are motivated but need regular guidance and accountability to stay on track.
   - Tutoring provides them with personal attention, direction, and encouragement.
2. Students who are making steady progress in their studies but want to increase their pace without losing quality.
   - These students are already working through lessons successfully on their own.
   - Tutoring can help them move more efficiently and confidently through the material.
Private tutoring is not sustainable or effective for:
- Students making no progress in their studies.
- Students who need remedial instruction in place of regular coursework.
- Students who are unwilling or unprepared to work independently between meetings.
Summary
Private tutoring works best for self-motivated learners who want additional structure and guidance, not for students who are struggling to engage with their studies. It is a way to deepen and accelerate learning, not a substitute for it.
