In the Classical Liberal Arts Academy, the goal is mastery, not performance on a first attempt. If a student scores poorly on a quiz, exam, or written assignment, they are encouraged to review the lesson material, improve their understanding, and retake the assessment. There is no penalty for reattempts.

This approach allows students to focus on real learning rather than rushing through a course or worrying about grades. Parents and students can use feedback and scores as a guide to know when it’s time to move forward or return to previous lessons for deeper study.
