Scheduling a private tutoring session with the Classical Liberal Arts Academy (CLAA) is simple and can be done entirely through the CLAA website. Tutoring sessions are one-time meetings held via Zoom and must be scheduled and paid for in advance.

2. Review the Tutoring Service Details
- Tutoring sessions are one-time, 60-minute meetings.
- Meetings are conducted live via Zoom with Mr. Michael.
- Tutoring is designed to provide personal academic support and guidance—not to replace required course activities.
3. Add a Tutoring Session to Your Cart
- On the tutoring service page, click to add the meeting to your cart.
- Proceed to checkout to complete your reservation.
- Payment must be made at the time of booking to confirm your session.
4. Receive Scheduling Instructions
- After payment is completed, you will receive instructions for selecting an available time slot.
- You’ll also receive the Zoom meeting details for your session.
- You may be asked to provide information on the student’s current coursework or questions to prepare for the meeting.
5. Attend the Meeting
- Log in to Zoom at your scheduled time.
- Bring specific course questions, assignments, or areas where you need help.
- The tutor will review the student’s progress, answer questions, and offer personalized guidance.
6. Instructional Time Credit
- While tutoring meetings do not replace required lessons, quizzes, exams, or written assignments, students do receive “Instructional Time” credit for their tutoring sessions.
- This time is added to the student’s activity record and appears in their Instructional Time reports.
- This allows tutoring to be counted toward total study hours, which can support homeschool or program documentation.
7. Continue Independent Study
- Students remain responsible for completing their coursework in the CLAA Study Center.
- Tutoring is a supplemental support tool to help students strengthen their understanding, prepare for assessments, or address specific challenges in their studies.
