To access your courses and studies in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy (CLAA), you must log in to your Moodle student account. The Moodle site is secure, and students must log in before accessing the main site or any courses.
1. Go Directly to the Login Page
This is the official Moodle login page. You must log in here to access your Dashboard and courses.
Tip: Bookmark the login page in your browser so you can get to your studies quickly each day.
2. Enter Your Login Information
On the login page:
- Username: The email address associated with your CLAA student account.
- Password: The password you set or the one provided to you at registration.
Click “Log in” to continue.
If your account was created for you, check your welcome email for your temporary password.
3. If You Forgot Your Password
If you need to reset your password:
1. Click “Forgotten your username or password?” on the login page.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Check your inbox for the password reset link.
4. Follow the instructions to set a new password.
If the reset email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
4. Viewing Your Dashboard
After logging in, you’ll be taken to your Moodle Dashboard.
The Dashboard is your starting point and includes:
- Calendar showing upcoming assignments, quizzes, and due dates
- Announcements with important messages and updates
- Quick links to key pages
Note: Your courses are not listed on the Dashboard.
5. Accessing Your Courses
To view your enrolled courses:
1. Click on “My courses” in the main navigation menu (usually at the top of the page).
2. A list of your active courses will appear.
3. Click on any course title to enter the course page and begin your lessons.
From here, you can access lessons, quizzes, assignments, and course announcements.
6. Logging Out
When you finish your work:
- Click your name or profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Select “Log out” from the menu.
Logging out keeps your account secure, especially on shared devices.
