Each student enrolled in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy (CLAA) must have an individual Study Center account. This account gives the student access to courses, lessons, quizzes, assignments, grades, and official records. Creating and managing student accounts is an important step in the enrollment process.
1. When Student Accounts Are Needed
A student account must be created for:
- Each child enrolled through a subscription or course purchase
- Any additional student in the family who will be using the program
- Parents who wish to track progress separately for multiple children
A single family may have multiple student accounts under one parent enrollment plan.
2. Creating a Student Account
After making your enrollment arrangements (either by purchasing courses or subscribing to a monthly plan), you must request a student account through the CLAA Study Center.
Steps:
1. Visit the Study Center account request page.
2. Complete the form with the required student information (student name, parent email, and any requested details).
3. Submit the request.
4. Once your enrollment is confirmed, the account will be activated and login information will be sent by email.
If your child already has an active student account, you do not need to request a new one.
3. Logging In to the Student Account
Once the account is created:
- Go to the CLAA Study Center login page at https://classicalliberalarts.com/study/login
- Enter the student’s username (email address) and password
- Access the Dashboard and “My Courses” page to begin studying
The student should use their own login credentials for all course work so that records are properly tracked.
4. Managing Student Accounts
As the parent, you can manage student accounts by:
- Requesting additional accounts for new students
- Updating account details such as email address or display name (if needed)
- Requesting a password reset if a student forgets their password
- Monitoring course enrollment and progress through the student’s account
5. Password Resets
If a student forgets their password:
1. Go to the login page.
2. Click “Forgotten your username or password?”
3. Enter the email address associated with the student account.
4. Follow the instructions in the reset email to create a new password.
6. Removing or Inactivating Student Accounts
Student accounts remain active as long as the student is enrolled through a course purchase or subscription. If a subscription is canceled or a student is no longer active, the account is not deleted, but access to courses ends. You may reactivate course access later by renewing enrollment.
7. Multiple Student Accounts
If you have more than one child enrolled, each child must have their own account. This ensures that progress records, assessments, and reports remain accurate for each student. The Family Plan allows multiple students to study under one subscription.
Summary
- A student account is required for each enrolled student.
- Request the account after completing your enrollment arrangements.
- Each student uses their own login for lessons and assessments.
- Parents may manage accounts, reset passwords, and add additional students as needed.
- Accounts remain in the system even after enrollment ends, allowing easy reactivation in the future.
