In some courses, you may find that assessments—such as quizzes, written assignments, or exams—are not yet available. This is normal. The Classical Liberal Arts Academy (CLAA) Study Center is under constant development, and new activities and assessments are being added across the curriculum.
1. Ongoing Course Development
- Many courses in the CLAA program are already complete with assessments, while others are still being built out.
- When a course does not yet include assessments, it simply means that those activities have not been added to the system yet—not that the course is incomplete in content or value.
- Students are welcome to study available lessons, readings, and other resources in the meantime.
2. Requesting Assessments
- If your course currently has no assessments, you can request that assessments be added by contacting the CLAA office.
- Requests help us prioritize which courses to build out next based on real student and teacher needs.
- To submit a request, use the CLAA Help Center:
3. How Students Can Continue in the Meantime
- Students may continue to work through lessons and readings while waiting for assessments.
- Parents or instructors may assign oral narrations, written summaries, or discussions as temporary evaluations if desired.
- Once assessments are added, students can return to the course and complete the required quizzes or written assignments for credit.
4. No Penalty for Missing Activities
- Students are not penalized for a lack of published assessments in an active course.
- When new assessments are published, they will appear in the course activity list and can be completed at any time.
Summary
- Some courses may temporarily have no assessments while the Study Center is under development.
- You can request assessments for any course through the CLAA Help Center.
- Students may continue to study lesson content in the meantime.
- New assessments will be added over time, and students can complete them whenever they become available.
