Does CLAA respect the authority of the Pope?

Does CLAA respect the authority of the Pope?

Yes. The Classical Liberal Arts Academy (CLAA) fully accepts the authority of the Pope as the visible head of the Catholic Church and the successor of St. Peter. The Academy affirms all official teachings of the Church in matters of faith and morals, including the rightful jurisdiction of the Holy Father over the universal Church.

The CLAA rejects sedevacantism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and other schismatic movements that deny or undermine the unity of the Church under the Pope’s leadership. Instead, it defends the traditional Catholic faith from within the Church, faithful to both Sacred Scripture and the Magisterium.

In all of its Theology courses and throughout its educational program, the CLAA teaches students to respect and obey the Pope, not as a mere historical figure or moral leader, but as the living Vicar of Christ on earth.
