Can CLAA transcripts be used for college applications?

For homeschool students using CLAA self-paced courses, transcripts generated in the Study Center are not official and cannot be submitted to colleges, seminaries, or religious communities. In homeschooling, parents are considered the legal administrators of the school and must prepare and send the official transcript. While CLAA transcripts provide detailed records of course completion, grades, and study time, the official, legally recognized transcript must be issued by the parent.

However, Premium students who enroll in the CLAA Accredited High School Diploma Program can receive official, accredited transcripts from the Academy, suitable for college, seminary, and other institutional applications. This program is fully accredited through Cognia—the same agency that accredits over 32,000 schools worldwide

Only students actively participating in this diploma program are eligible to request and submit official CLAA transcripts.
