Are parents responsible for purchasing books and materials?

No. All required study materials are provided in digital format within the CLAA Study Center. Families do not need to purchase printed books in order to complete any course in the Classical Liberal Arts Academy, which helps eliminate unnecessary expenses and simplifies enrollment.

That said, many of the classical and Catholic source texts used in CLAA courses are available in print through various publishers. Parents and students who prefer printed books for reading and annotation are free to purchase them independently, but doing so is entirely optional and not required for participation in the program. An Academy parent generously compiled the book list below.
